Ukke R. Kosasih, Founder of Circa

Graduated with a major in anthropologyfrom University of Indonesia.
Ukke then worked in fields pertaining to women empowerment, before setting up Circa HandMade in 2006, to offer a job opportunity and empower the less fortunate women around her house in Cihanjuang, Bandung, West Java.

Wati
One of the original three crafters who was offered to help set up Circa.
Wati, now coordinates all the crafters, in addition to being an independent supplier to Circa, alongside her husband.
Saepudin (standing)
The only male crafter in Circa and the group leader to those designing and producing the doll’s clothing.
He has always dreamed of being a designer and learned how to sew when he was only fifth grade.
Gina (left)
One of senior crafter in charge of designer and producing the doll’s clothing. She is known to be very strict.
Ai (right)
The quiet one amongst the crafters designing and producing the doll’s clothing, but is also very diligent.
Entin
She acts as the group leader to the hand stitchers (Jelujur), and joined Circa since its foundation. She is a diligent worker who produces detailed products, but is often forgetful :)
Entin is the winner of the Craft Competition between the crafters for Best Presenter two years in a row.

Iim (middle)
The one to bring cheer in the workshop with her hilarious stories. As the one of the doll hair stylist, lim is also very concerned with her own hair style, especially the bangs.
Mirna & Irna (left and right)
Mirna and Irna are two crafters who have only recently joined Circa but has become experts in the different hair styles. They still have to learn how to set more than 15 different hair styles. Long way to go.
