Circa was founded in 2006. It started with 3 artisans who were the neighbours of Ukke R. Kosasih, the founder, in Cihanjuang, Bandung, West Java, Indonesia.
For the first 10 years, Circa focused its business in the development of a strong team and in the creation of an ethical production process.
Now, Circa works with 27 artisans, most of them work in their home, so they still can be productive while taking care of their family. We called it “Mom’s Friendly” program.

Only 8 artisans work in Circa’s workshop and help to prepare the job order and materials for the artisans-at-home. It is creating a solidarity atmosphere among the artisans.
Dolls and “Jelujur” (hand stitched bag and pouch collection) are the main core product of Circa.
